Privacy notice
DRAFT — for review. This text is a working draft and must be approved (legal/compliance) before launch.
This notice explains what PRIVACYBOOT ([registered business name and CAC number — pending]) collects and why.
What we collect
- Orders: your email address, delivery name and address, the items ordered, the payment coin, amount and transaction reference. If you used a seller's link or code, which seller referred you.
- Support: the email address and message you send us.
- Technical: a session cookie needed for your basket and checkout, and, if you arrived through a seller's link, a first-party referral cookie holding only the seller's code. No advertising or analytics cookies.
What we do not do
- No accounts, no phone numbers, no social media pixels, no Google Analytics, no third-party trackers.
- Referral visits are counted with a one-way hash of the IP address made with a salt that changes and is discarded daily; we cannot recover the IP address.
- We do not sell or share your data for marketing. Sellers never see your name, email or address.
- We do not receive card details; payment is by cryptocurrency to our own wallets.
Why we use it
To deliver your order, confirm payment, provide support and meet legal and accounting obligations.
How long we keep it
Delivery and contact details are removed from completed orders and support messages 180 days after they are closed. Limited order records (items, amounts, dates) may be kept longer where accounting law requires.
Who sees it
Only PRIVACYBOOT staff who need it, our hosting provider, and the delivery company for your address.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by emailing support@privacyboot.com.
Blockchain note
Cryptocurrency transactions are recorded publicly on their blockchain by design. We cannot remove them.
